What is MEF?

The Mountain Education Foundation supports Thrasher financially. Without this support from MEF, we would not be able to offer art or computer classes. We also provide extra reading support with funds from MEF. Our hope is that 100% of our families will support Thrasher through the MEF. MEF’s website is here: https://meftoday.org/

We’re a volunteer team of parents, caregivers, and teachers working to support classrooms, strengthen our school community, and improve the Thrasher experience for every student.

We want you to get involved—so consider this your invitation to jump in and be part of things!

We are so excited to welcome new kindergarteners into our school family! Before you begin the online registration process, make sure to have the necessary documents on hand as well as a valid email address. When you begin the registration process, you may save and return at any point, but once the registration has been submitted, you can no longer add documents to the Student Registration.

In order to upload documents to the registration site, you will need a scanned copy, or be able to take a photo with a tablet/phone, of the following documents:

 

*2 Proofs of Residence can be any of the following documents at the physical address in Guardian’s name (within last 30 days)

Mortgage, Lease or Deed

Electric, water, gas, or cable dated

Agency or Court Documentation with address (IRS, SS Disability)

Insurance (medical, life, auto, home) statement

Current Bank Statement or Employment Check Stub with address

 

*Student’s Birth Certificate – preferred, not required

 

*Parent/Guardian Driver’s License or State-Issued ID – preferred, not required

 

*Student’s TN Immunization Form & Physical– Immunizations documented on the TN Form (obtained at Pediatrician’s office or Hamilton County Health Department)
