Mr. Matt Sentef began his teaching career at Thrasher Elementary in 2014. He holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education through the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with additional endorsements in the middle grades and special education. Mr. Sentef has taught 2nd and 3rd grade.

Mr. Sentef enjoys finding new and creative ways to teach the content. He seeks to inspire his students to become lifelong learners and to develop compassion for others.

Mr. Sentef is married to Lindsey. They have one dog, a Yorkshire terrier, named Andrew. They enjoy spending their time traveling.
