Schools Asked to Create Float for Centennial Parade

Looking for thoughts/volunteers on this letter from Troy Kennedy:

For those of you that do not know, I have volunteered to organize the Signal Mountain Centennial Parade that will occur on April 13 2019. The parade is set to begin at 10 am sharp!

I am asking all the schools, and their organizations for input. This will be a parade like no other in the history of the Town. There is enough time to build floats, gather music, organized, and spread the word to all the families and friends that would like to get involved.

Attached (2) is the outline for what the parade should resemble, and then a list of ideas for the school groups. Please, please help spread the word. Create new flyers and involve your kids as much as you would like. The image can be downloaded directly from the web page signalmountain100.com.

MEF Giving

With the end of the calendar year approaching, we wanted to remind everyone of our community’s effort to “Protect the Promise” of great schools on Signal Mountain!  If you are not yet a monthly donor, please consider becoming one by visiting www.meftoday.org.  If you would instead like to make a one-time gift for the year, please consider giving generously as our contributions provide much-needed personnel, technology, and resources at SMMHS, Nolan, and Thrasher.  Thanks for supporting our kids through MEF!

Art Supplies Needed

You’ve probably heard from your child how much kids are enjoying art class. The art room is running quite low on supplies. If you’d like to send some specific items to Mrs. Underwood for upcoming projects, please click here! https://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/IZK8DVAO76BA/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_gm__wl

SACC during Winter Break

Thrasher’s SACC will be closed during the winter break. Families that need to make use of SACC can access it at Nolan.

Thank You

If UPS thought they’d be busy with holiday parcels, they didn’t know how much our parents would respond to the Mrs. Underwood’s request for art supplies in the art classroom! Thank you, thank you!
